Okay, I just got back my 37K words from Cathy and I can say I'm happy with her work. Just as with any proofreader, I didn't agree with everything she found and corrected, but I would say I made changes based on about 95% of what she said.
I worked with Cathy over 2 books. She did a great job of finding all the errors and mistakes I'd made.
Cathy proofread the first 40,000 words of my novel. This novel has already been edited by various people, so I was surprised to find Cathy still found errors. She pointed out a few missing words and several misplaced commas. I’m glad I got her fresh pair of eyes on it.

This is my review of her services. When she first got the draft back to me, it was more of a copy-edit than a proof, with lots of marks that were more stylistic than proofing edits. You could say this was actually more than advertised, though it wasn't really what I was looking for, and I didn't want to have to go through the whole manuscript weighing these suggestions. I just wanted somebody to point out my obvious mistakes. I conveyed this to her, just to let her know but not expecting anything further. Cathy was kind enough to go through the entire manuscript again, this time just marking the errors for me. That's exactly what I was looking for, and in the end I was very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Cathy and would use her services again myself.
